In Ottawa, the 23rd annual Ottawa Valley Curling Association (OVCA) SuperSpiel takes place.  Featuring men’s and women’s teams from all across the country and as far as away as China, Switzerland and the United States, it is annually one of the best fields of junior (U21) teams assembled.  Host clubs include Carleton Heights, Granite, Navy, City View, Ottawa, RCMP and Manotick.  Play starts 9:00AM Friday and you can find live scoring on the OJCT website here powered by CurlingZone In Galt, the Galt Country Club plays host to the JuniorSlam Series with the men’s edition of the Orion Slam (U18).  16 high performance teams from across Ontario will compete for the championship.  The RockTalk focus for this event will be on Varsity Curling featuring University of Guelph women’s head coach Byron Scott.
