The playoffs have been set at the 2017 U21 Canadian Juniors, and Ontario will be a part of the playoffs on both sides. On the women’s side, team Armstrong capped off an undefeated round robin with a 7-3 victory over Alberta. Their 10-0 record earned them a direct birth to the national final, where they await the winner of Northern Ontario (Burns) and Alberta (Streifel). On the men’s side, team Hall advanced to the playoffs with a 4-3 Championship pool record, 6-3 overall. They earned a spot in the tiebreaker game against Manitoba (Ryan), who finished with an identical record. The winner advances to the national semi-final against Northern Ontario (Horgan), with B.C. (Tardi) waiting in the national final.

Best of luck to the Ontario and OJCT teams as they look to win a Canadian Championship this weekend, and represent Canada at the U21 World Championships!
