Description:
The Huntley Curling Club is a premier curling facility featuring four sheets and maintained by what we consider one of the best ice-makers in the area. In addition to the four sheets of pristine pebbled ice, there is also a friendly warm lounge for curlers to relax enjoy the action on the ice, watch a game on the TV or chat while enjoying a pint or other beverage with other members and guests. Our bar features local and more common brews on tap as well has a fully stocked fridge carrying many other beer brands in addition to a good selection of wine, hard liquor and other beverages. The club also features on ice HD cameras to view action at the end of the sheet from the lounge, a stereo system and microphone for gatherings as well men and women's locker rooms to store your curling gear. The club dating back to 1888 primary purpose is to provide a top notch recreational and competitive facility for use by club members often from the western Ottawa region. Our curlers range in age from 6 to 80+ years. We are proud members of the Ottawa Valley Curling Association (OVCA) and the Ontario Curling Association (OCA). We often host competitive bonspiels during the season in addition on our members only fun bonspiels. Our leagues range from competitive daytime and evening leagues to social and fun leagues.
