Ontario Junior Tour Curling is in full swing this weekend with three events across the province spanning from east to west.

The U18 season on the Tour kicks off with two events, the Hogline U18 Bonspiel in Ottawa at the Cityview Curling Club featuring 10 women’s and 8 men’s teams from the Ottawa Valley, Quebec, Toronto and the United States.  This second year event is fast becoming a destination event early in the U18 calendar.

In Oakville, the annual Oakville Optimist U18 Cashspiel features 24 men’s and women’s teams in mixed pool play.  One of the largest events in the U18 calendar, the Oakville Curling Club has always hosted a great kick-off to the U18 year with an event that has a broad range of teams both new to competition and experienced teams using this and their return to competition.

Finally in Kitchener-Waterloo, the K-W Granite Club will play host to this year’s Southern Ontario SuperSpiel Qualifier featuring nine men’s and six women’s teams competing for two coveted spots in the annual OVCA SuperSpiel at the end of October.

As always, online scoring will be available on the OJCT website powered by CurlingZone so keep those computers and smartphones open to the action across the province.
