The KW Junior Curling Classic came to an end Sunday with teams Auld and Hall victorious. The season’s final U21 major saw some great action and finals that were tightly contested until last rock. In the men’s final Matthew Hall drew the four foot on his final rock in the 8th for a 4-3 win over team Robinson from Sudbury. Team Auld won 6-5 in a thrilling extra end victory over team SongHyun (Kim) from South Korea. For both Auld and Hall the victories capped off undefeated weekends and captured them the final U21 major of the season.

Other women’s action saw team Murphy avenge their championship semi-final loss by beating team Little in the consolation game. Also, team Rozon won the 2nd event, beating team Kiemele. Rozon and Kiemele made the 2nd event final after wins over teams Bear and MacKay earlier Sunday.

Men’s action featured team Richard besting team Willsey in the consolation game, after both teams lost championship semi-final matches. Earlier men’s quarterfinal games saw Leung, Currie, Egan and Marshall fall.
