July 2012 update:

 
Due to increased demand, we are going to run a 10 mens and 10 womens event.  This will mean a Friday start for some teams.  The draw has  not been finalized yet, but we will go with two five-team pools.  This will guarantee every team four RR games and the top four teams in each pool will be guaranteed at least one more game.

Rules:

Games are 8 ends

Games will not be timed, but teams falling behind will be warned, and could forfeit a shot if they do not pick up the pace

Tie games duing the round robin will be decided by a one rock shoot-out to the button.  The finals wil be decided by full extra end.

Ties in the standings will be decided by head to head.  Three way ties, if equal in head to head,  will be decided by a four rock shootout for each team and best of three measured in cms.

There will be one timeout per teams per game and not four end break.  In the finals, each team will be allowed one timeout but there will be no break after 8 ends.

There will be two 50:50 with proceeds going to the Michael McDonald Scolarship Fund.
