2012 Results: Men | Women

This is our 5th year hosting the Galt Junior Curling Classic. For the 2012 event we have 20 Teams participating, 10 Junior Men’s and 10 Junior Women’s teams. The feld is diverse with both young and more experienced teams participating. We also welcome this year teams from the United States.

For both the Men’s and Women’s draws the 10 teams are divided into 2 pools of 5 teams. Each team will play a round robin within their pool to provide seeding for the playoff round. With 5 teams per pool there will be a bye team per draw rotating through the event.

All games are 8 ends. In the event of a tie game after 8 ends, a full extra end is required to be thrown toward the home glass. There are no pre game practices but each team will have 2 one minute time outs available. Coin toss determines Hammer in the first end and rock colours are not pre assigned.

For this year’s event pool rotation will see both Junior Women and Junior Men playing at the same time. We encourage all participants to maintain a high level of sportsmanship throughout the event.
