Team Horgan has repeated as men’s champion at the 2016 Stu Sells Junior Tankard held at the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club, September 23-25.  Over the two year’s of the event, Team Horgan has gone undefeated not losing a game in either round-robin play or playoffs.  They will represent the Junior Tankard at the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard on the Thanksgiving weekend. For the 2nd week in a row on the OJCT tour, Team Armstrong for the Rideau Curling Club in Ottawa were the winners of the Stu Sells Junior Tankard.  They defeated Team St. Georges from Quebec in the finals of the second annual running of this event at the High Park Club. Finishing the round robin as the top two seeds, the teams played it close for the first three ends until a big score of three broke the game open for Team Armstrong.  A steal of two by Armstrong in seven sealed the fate for Team St. Georges who played well the entire event. The consolation final was won by Team Brandwood who defeated the other semi-finalist, Team Greenwood in the battle for third place. The Stu Sells Junior Tankard U21 Men takeover the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club this weekend on the OJCT Tour.  16 elite men’s team compete for the chance to play at the Stu Sells Tankard on the Thanksgiving weekend and have a personal training session with Team Gushue prior to the event.
