It’s Sunday – Must be Playoffs!

Another Sunday on the OJCT Tour dawns and the playoffs are set for the new calendar year’s first major event, the Stu Sells Junior Tankard. The men are up first in their quarter finals with top qualifier Team Sinnett taking on #8 seed Team Mooibroek.  #2 seed Team Stopera take on #7 Team Massey while #3 Team Hart play Team Poole.  The final match-up sees #4 Team Fenech playing #Team McDonald.  These games will start at 10:30 AM.  Men’s semis will start at 1:15. Playoff match-ups set at Carleton Heights

Round robin play was completed yesterday at the 2018 Carleton Heights U21 Labour Day Spiel. Emerging from women’s round robin play for the playoff round were teams Sutherland, Deschenes, Gray and Lavoie.  For the men, teams Marin, Inglis, Poole and Fenech have made it through to Sunday play. The 2018-19 OJCT season continues with the annual Carleton Heights U21 Labour Day Spiel.   This event kicks of the new calendar year with new teams and old all dealing with the element of the first competitive event of the new year.
